We are delighted to share that we’ve been awarded the 2026 East Riding of Yorkshire Council Chairman’s Business Award in the under 50 employees’ category! This remarkable achievement was celebrated at Champney Treasure House in Beverley on Tuesday 12th May 2026.
Representing our shop, Committee Treasurer, Nina Radkevich, proudly accepted the award on behalf of our community.
The Chairman’s Awards are presented annually by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to small, large, old and new companies within the East Riding of Yorkshire in recognition of their commitment to their workforce, contribution to the local economy and impact on the local community.
Winning this award is a significant achievement for a community shop like ours. It will not only raise the shop’s profile but also validate our community’s efforts, attract attention from new customers and partners, and support our ongoing sustainability and growth.
This award wouldn’t have been possible without the commitment of our members, volunteers, customers, and suppliers. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us on this journey.
