On Thursday 30th January, the community came together at the shop to celebrate this major achievement with a beautiful cake to share and say thank you to the volunteers, customers, and members for their support over the last five years. Their loyalty has enabled the shop to become a linchpin of village life, a vital lifeline for those without transport, a meeting place, and a communication hub. It’s also meant that not once in the last five years has the shop had to close due to lack of staff.
