The awards ceremony will take place at the Farm Shop & Deli Show at the Birmingham NEC
on Monday 13th April 2026.
The Awards recognise businesses that combine success with community impact, celebrating
independent retailers championing British produce, sustainable sourcing and exceptional
customer experience – from long-standing family businesses to ambitious newcomers
reshaping the sector.
Finalists were chosen through a thorough judging process. Hundreds of entries were
reviewed by a panel representing the retail, wholesale, and broader food industry. Criteria
included business performance, innovation, sustainability, customer engagement, and
testimonials from both suppliers and customers—so this shortlist truly represents excellence
in independent retail.
With only 4 finalists in our category, we have a 25% chance of winning — we’ll keep you
updated on the outcome!
